Mission
To make human connection more familiar.
We’re building the community, research, and infrastructure to explore human connection in every medium and discipline, without judgment or a single system’s lens. Human connection isn’t a soft or secondary concern — it shows up in mental health outcomes, health care, education, technology, art, and policy, and it’s often the resource least available to the people who need it most.
Vision
Reimagining Human Connection.
We’re working toward a future where the industries that touch human connection — mental health care, education, technology, therapy, art, and community life — are shaped by people who understand connection in all its forms. Progress looks like policy changed and research published. It also looks like people who’ve been told their way of connecting is wrong finding infrastructure, community, and legitimacy instead.
Values
- Human-Centered First
- Every project starts from lived experience and curiosity. Research and programming follow people, not the other way around.
- Every Medium Is a Door In
- Film, art, therapy, policy, technology, education, and social work are equally legitimate ways into this work.
- Justice
- Our work is rooted in equity, access, and accountability to the communities most affected.
- There’s No One Way to Connect
- Connection keeps being reshaped by technology, culture, and circumstance. We don’t hold it to a single template.
- Quaint
- Legitimacy that feels comfortable to the world, to the communities we serve, and to us.
- Governance for the Stakeholders
- Boards and decision-making include the communities most affected, or best equipped to steward the conversation.
- Ethical Innovation
- Whether the innovation is technological, artistic, or clinical, we treat human connection as something to shape responsibly.
