Members and the community

Members are part of the community and commit to a project within the year, in whatever medium fits them. A research paper, a piece of art, a podcast, a curriculum, a support group, a short film, a policy brief, a therapy resource, or something more. The community is for spaces and forums organized around the subdomains of human connection, for professionals, researchers, and anyone speaking the language and doing the work in their own way. Dues are paid on a sliding scale, set by ability to pay.

The board

Board members take on governance and make an annual contribution as a condition of service. We are looking for the communities most affected by this work, and the professional, clinical, legal, and organizational expertise a board needs. Board members are part of the community too.

The Annual Showcase

Once a year, members bring their projects back to the group. There is no competition in it. It is the moment the whole point of the organization becomes visible at once: many small, particular pieces of work on human connection, built by people who came at it from completely different directions.
