Terms of Use

Last updated August 2026.

Who this covers

These terms apply to aquaintthinktank.com — browsing the public pages, signing up for updates, submitting a General or Board Member application, and (for members) logging into the member area. They don’t cover any in-person event, program, or platform A Quaint Think Tank builds later; those will carry their own terms if and when they exist.

Where this stands

A Quaint Think Tank is a pre-launch, pre-filing 501(c)(3): no seated board yet, no filed nonprofit status yet. This site reflects that stage — content here can change as the organization takes shape, and nothing on it should be read as a finished, binding commitment about how the organization will ultimately be structured or run.

Using this site

The content here — the memo, the marketing copy, the site design — is A Quaint Think Tank’s own, except where explicitly credited otherwise. You’re welcome to read, link to, and share it. Reposting it as your own, or using it to imply an affiliation with A Quaint Think Tank that doesn’t exist, isn’t.

The gated memo and member dashboard are for people we’ve given direct access to. Sharing a memo link or member credentials outside that isn’t permitted.

Submissions and accounts

Applications, sliding-scale notes, and anything else submitted through this site are reviewed personally, not automatically processed. Submitting an application doesn’t guarantee membership or a response by any particular date, given this is currently a small team.

If you’re issued member login credentials, you’re responsible for keeping them to yourself. Let us know if you think they’ve been compromised.

No warranty

This site is provided as-is, at an early and evolving stage. We try to keep it accurate and working, but we don’t guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or exactly current at every moment.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the organization moves from pre-launch toward a filed, operating nonprofit. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date below.

Contact

Questions about these terms can go through the Contact page.

This is a starting-point policy for a pre-launch organization, not a substitute for legal advice — it will be reviewed by counsel before A Quaint Think Tank formally launches.
